Welcome to the Buffalo Amateur Radio Klub, Inc website. We are located at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains in Buffalo, Wyoming. Buffalo is the county seat of Johnson County.
The club was formed in 2012?? and was primarily for amateur radio. Over the years and more recently in fact, we have added two interest groups. You will find us playing around with GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) and with MeshCore. You will find more about these on other pages.
But our primary interest is in Emergency Communications and even GMRS and MeshCore are part of those radio areas that can help out our county in an emergency situation.
